The name Skout Care is inspired by the Scout organisations many of our team grew up in — global communities dedicated to life skills, independence, and being of service. That spirit still anchors us today: building people up, navigating complexity with care, and championing participant strengths.
We are a Western Australian NDIS provider built on reliability, creativity, and heart. Combining lived experience with professional expertise, our team delivers disability support that is flexible, outcome-driven, and person-centred. We believe real impact comes from listening deeply, acting with consistency, and tailoring every approach to the individual.
Skout Care exists to do more than provide care — we create pathways. Every service is designed to build capability, independence, and stability while strengthening trust with families and referral partners. By focusing on practical solutions and genuine collaboration, we ensure participants are supported not only in the moment but for the long term.

We work alongside children, young people, and adults aged 7–65, including those with complex needs and disabilities. Our team has experience supporting:
Neurodivergence — for example, a teenager on the autism spectrum who thrives with structure but struggles in unstructured social settings.
Psychosocial disability — such as a young adult managing schizophrenia who needs both clinical support and opportunities to build social confidence.
Cognitive and neurological conditions — for instance, a man in his 40s living with an acquired brain injury and building skills for independent living.
Employment pathways — like a young person exploring pre-employment training and practical skills to step confidently into the workforce.
Physical and behavioural complexities — from mobility challenges and high-intensity supports to children with trauma backgrounds who benefit from consistent, trauma-informed care.
Every support plan is built around the individual’s strengths, culture, and goals. By combining evidence-based strategies with lived experience and collaboration, we make support practical, respectful, and effective — for both participants and their wider networks.
We follow our ISD Model: Identify, Support, Develop.
Needs and goals through careful assessment and context.
With the right strategies, environments, and people.
Capacity, confidence, and meaningful connections over time.
This approach benefits both participants and stakeholders — ensuring clear plans, reliable delivery, and stronger outcomes.
Like the Scouts we grew up in, Skout Care believes in action, not theory. We stand for practical solutions, teamwork, and staying the course even when things get complex.
We don’t generalise — we individualise.
We don’t follow templates — we build tailored pathways.
We don’t play politics — we solve problems.
We pick the right people, not just any people.
We stay the course when the journey is complex.
This is the standard we hold ourselves to — and the commitment that participants, families, and referral partners can expect from us every step of the way.
Our team is made up of experienced, culturally diverse professionals who are committed to providing high-quality disability support services. Every member of our staff is trained, qualified, and passionate about delivering care that is practical, consistent, and focused on each participant’s goals. We speak over ten languages and bring a wide range of skills to support people with complex needs across Perth and Western Australia.
